I got this in an email:
In a riveting interview on TruNews Radio, Wednesday, private investigator Doug Hagmann said high-level, reliable sources told him the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is preparing for “massive civil war” in America.
“Folks, we’re getting ready for one massive economic collapse,” Hagmann told TruNews host Rick Wiles.
“We have problems . . . The federal government is preparing for civil uprising,” he added, “so every time you hear about troop movements, every time you hear about movements of military equipment, the militarization of the police, the buying of the ammunition, all of this is . . . they (DHS) are preparing for a massive uprising.”
Hagmann goes on to say that his sources tell him the concerns of the DHS stem from a collapse of the U.S. dollar and the hyperinflation a collapse in the value of the world’s primary reserve currency implies to a nation of 311 million Americans, who, for the significant portion of the population, is armed.
Reading this reminds me of something I heard once:
“Japan would never invade the United States. We would find a rifle behind every blade of grass.”
That quote is by Isoroku Yamamoto, the Japanese Commander-in-Chief during WWII. It sure made a lot of people proud at the time, too! Times have changed. While there are still rifles behind every blade of grass… the country is now both politically and geographically different. Places with blades of grass are now concrete jungles. What Yamamoto said remains true. What does the concrete jungle have to do with anything? Most large cities, particularly on the coast, are ran by Liberal governments with fairly strict gun control laws. Los Angeles (and all of California as well), NYC, DC, Baltimore, Boston, etc. The vast majority of these large cities are relatively gun free when compared to the rest of the United States.
This could very well be overreacting or it could be true and then those who proclaim it are made out to be loons. I was do research on something else last week and was intrigued to see that there are over 100,000 people working as contractors with various private security firms, like DynCorp and the company formerly known as Blackwater.
As governments cut costs, the soldiers that they have trained are moving to work for these private security firms providing corporate security in “dangerous” places and acting as soldiers for hire to various governments. Now it might be harder for some of the U.S. troops to turn on their own people, but some of these people just get off on killing so it would not take much for them to kill those who protest against government actions. If the government doesn’t want to risk the troops refusing to help, they always have plenty of mercenaries that they can use instead.
